Vibrissae is an early-stage project by Soft Signal, exploring gentle sensing and behavioral signals in cats.
Inspired by the natural sensitivity of whiskers, Vibrissae focuses on non-invasive, animal-first approaches to understanding routine changes and communication between cats and their caregivers.
We aim to make caregiver-cats communication more intuitive by observing subtle, ambient cuesno wearables, no stress.
As the project evolves, our focus stays on comfort and ethics: animal-first design, minimal intrusion, and meaningful signals that support everyday wellbeing.
